The Diet and Exercise Journal is an easy way to monitor the food you eat and keep track of the progress you’ve made with exercise. By using this information, you can study habits and trends within your routine and improve wherever you need it!
Journal Instructions
After downloading the Diet and Exercise template and clicking on the file, you will be able to start organizing your personal information to efficiently reach your health goals.
The “Goals” tab lists a helpful visual of different graphs that highlight the progress you’ve made throughout the week and the months. The left column gives you an overview of the important information, such as: the amount of time you’ve been working out, the amount of weight you’ve lost, and the average number of pounds you lose per day.
The “Diet” tab is the spot where you get to log the various foods you eat throughout your day and the amount of: sugar, carbohydrates, calories, and fiber they all contain. You can also leave a note indicating when you ate these items.
In the “Exercise” tab, you do the same thing, just log your workout and the number of calories you burned for that exercise, and then the template will take care of the rest.
When you have all the information entered, click the “File” tab in the top left corner, and select the “Print” option, to have the file sent to your printer. You can also choose the “Save As” option to store the document on your computer, and keep everything digital.
