How Can You Use an Employee Attendance Record?
An employee attendance record template is very simple to use actually. You first need to list their names and other business information. The next thing you do is record the time that each employee comes to work. If they come in at 8:00am, than log in that time.
You also record the time that the employees takes lunch. This may not seem like a big deal. But clocking meals breaks is a great way to keep on top of accountability. It’s also a great way to keep on track of your employee’s patterns.
Record the time that they clock out at the end of the day. If there is any overtime, than you need to clock that time as well. This is a great way to keep tabs on how many of your employees are getting overtime. That way you can see how much this is going to cost you. Each attendance form should begin at the top of each month. You begin with week one and go from there. If week one begins on a Friday, than blank out Monday through Thursday.
If you must put in for time off, than use the codes provided to you by your employer. If there you need to put in for some time off and don’t see a code for it, ask your boss. Don’t put in for any reason on the sheet. At the end of the month, you need to sign it and hand it to your boss. Once it is reviewed, he or she will sign.
