The free First Food Checklist is the perfect tool to help you decide what to feed your child and at what age. This document provides you with all the food items that a child can eat and breaks them into different age categories for you. This makes it easy to follow along with the development of your baby and find them the food they need to grow healthier.
Babies quickly become tired of canned food and want the real thing. Keeping them on canned food can lead to not eating and even tossing the stuff in fits of anger. This free template introduces you to foods both of you can eat and enjoy together as part of a well-balanced meal. To get started today, just follow the instructions below.
Using the First Food Checklist
To download this free template, you can click on the link provided below.
You can decide to print the sheet to make looking up foods more convenient. Simply click the “File” tab above and then choose “Print” from the list of options below. It’s best to put this template on the fridge so you can easily access it whenever you need it.
The next step is to find the age of your baby in this list. Each table is broken into different age brackets. You will simply find the table that matches the age of your baby.
It goes without saying that your baby can also eat foods that are below their age. For example, a 7-month old can have the foods from the 4-6 month table as well.
After you’ve had the chance to check out some of the items on the list, it’s time to start shopping.
On your next grocery store trip, buy a few of these items and start introducing them gradually to your child. They need to get used to all the new textures. You should also cut them into small pieces to avoid a choking hazard.
Use this template to start your child on adult food and see what they can eat today!
