Once the document has been opened, you can start to look at the setup for the template. The first column will show you the different industries and products for 2015-2016.

Ideally, you will scroll down the list and find something similar to what you sell or your service.

Once that’s accomplished, you can go to the other columns that display different information about that product. For example, if you scroll over the “Foods, feeds, & beverages” row, you’ll find that the relative importance as an import was relatively low compared to other commodities listed.

If you’re deciding to invest in a certain market, this information would be invaluable as well. You could see that trade in foods isn’t worth the effort, while automotive trade is excellent.

If you want to print the sheet for your use later, you can scroll to the top of the page and select “File” then “Print” from the list of options that will appear.
